In Turkey, denied rumors of an increase in vacation prices this season

The head of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation, Sururi Çorabatır, promised to keep prices for holidays in hotels at the level of the last season. On this August 2 reports RIA Novosti. As explained by Chorabatyr, prices are spelled out in the contracts that were concluded with tour operators in 2019 and they will not change. At the same time, the head of the hoteliers federation noted that despite the fact that the hotel management had increased costs due to mandatory measures to combat the threat of coronavirus, some hotels went to lower prices in order to attract customers. Moreover, according to Chorabatyr, the hotel will not stop working even if a guest with a coronavirus infection is identified among tourists. A number of instructions for such situations were developed for hotel staff. Each hotel has special rooms for isolating guests with confirmed coronavirus infection, information about such a tourist is sent to the Turkish Ministry of Health and then a specially developed scheme is included. At the same time, the rest of the guests will continue their rest. Chorabatyr refrained from predicting the number of tourists from Russia who will visit Turkey this season. As the head of the hoteliers federation explained, the season has just begun and he hopes that Turkey will remain one of the most popular places to relax among Russian citizens. Earlier, the news agency reported on the departure to Istanbul from Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport of the first regular international flight after the resumption of flights, discontinued at the end of March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
