Polish Foreign Minister reveals Warsaw's main interest in Belarus

Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau spoke about Warsaw's foreign policy, touching on the construction of the Troemorje project, as well as the situation in Belarus. The development of the Troemory community of Central and Eastern European states, which includes EU countries from Estonia in the north to Bulgaria and Croatia in the south, Rau called one of the main directions of Polish foreign policy. The Minister noted that the goal of the project is to eliminate the differences between the old EU and the eastern part of the European Community. The most important moment in the construction of our Troemory is that it is a community of States and nations with very similar historical experience in the struggle for freedom. Our project should be implemented primarily in the joint development of infrastructure in the railway and transport sectors, as well as in the development of cyberspace, the Polish Foreign Minister emphasized. Touching on the political crisis in Belarus, the Polish diplomat said that in the interests of Poland, first of all, preventing the strengthening of Russia's military presence in Belarus. Recall that last week, the chairman of the committee on Belarus in the Polish parliament, Robert Tyszkiewicz, said that inter-party work is currently underway to develop a more effective system for financing non-state media in Belarus.
