In Riga, resume transportation on fixed-route express taxis


The municipal enterprise Rīgas satiksme announced the resumption of traffic on fixed-route express taxis from June 29, which was suspended in the capital of Latvia immediately after the introduction of the emergency regime, March 13, writes the portal tvnet.lv. While fixed-route express taxis will run only on working days, the exception will be the route Vetsdaugava Railway Station. Previous discounts on all routes have been canceled. From March 13 to June 9 because of COVID-19 pandemic the decision of the government in Latvia the emergency mode was in place. These measures have negatively affected the economic situation in the country.
