In 2019, two terrorist attacks were prevented in Tajikistan

In Tajikistan in 2019 there were two attacks, and two more attacks were prevented thanks to the work of special services of the republic. This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda during a briefing with journalists, Sputnik Tajikistan reported on February 14. According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic, last year more than 160 members of terrorist and extremist organizations were detained. A total of 1,211 terrorist crimes have been registered by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan over the past year. Last year, two terrorist acts were committed in Tajikistan.
