Imports of vegetables from China to the Far East fell twice due to coronavirus
The volume of exports from the borders of the Far East to the People's Republic of China decreased in January 2020, while imports increased, but the import of vegetables and fruits from the Black Sea fell almost twice, the head of the Far East Customs Administration Yuri Ladygin said. The volume of imports from the PRC in physical terms increased by 17% to 341.8 thousand tons, the cost by 23.8% to 1.15 billion dollars, Ladygin said. According to him, the nomenclature of trade turnover with China did not change in 2020, but there is a decrease in imported goods, in particular vegetables and fruits. The volume of imports of vegetables and fruits is almost halved in net terms and by 27.5% in value. China is our main partner.
